Solved! Best AMD and ATI notebook under $1000

Hi All,

I am looking for an AMD powered laptop with a dedicated ATI video card. Im looking for the best notebook for under$1000. I would like to do some gaming on it. Preferably I would like a 1 gb dedicated card. I am looking at a HP DV6 http/www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834157046 or maybe a DV7 like http/www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=12347230.

Does anyone else have a recommended system?

Any reason why you want to stick with ATI and AMD? Personally, the M11x from Alienware sounds like a good choice for your budget, though it has no optical drive and you'll have to play on a relatively tiny 11.6 1366 x 768 screen.

Yeah, I've been a fan of AMD since High School and now I work for them....so I am even more loyal

Also, this will be a secondary computer used for gaming on trips and used for internet while at home in bed. My main pc is what I do a majority of my gaming on.
