I have been using an MV30 for about 20 years. This is to augment a semi-pro trio playing in a club. I have acquired another 2 second hand units but now have only one left working. no2. requires a floppy drive and no.3 has a blank screen and no floppy drive. I fear that the one working unit might fail and leave me with about 200 song files which wont work in any other sequencer. Can anybody help with either an unwanted MV30 or a spare unique floppy drive?

Why dont you just convert the music data into midi files and export it into your computer as back up. Then you can just use an onboard sequencer and sound module to play the files. Copy tracks 1 through 8 onto tracks 9 through 16 and assign midi channel numbers to each track. Then, create a data disk and save it as a midi file in the DISK menu. You can even copy the Compumix info as midi volume data (7). Then just pull out the disk and save it into your laptop/pc.
