Why is my footage cut short?

I did continuous filming at a concert the other day with my Canon XA10. When I upload my footage from an SD card, it uploads on to my computer in clips of 11:20!

Why is it doing this? I've never had a problem doing this through any other cameras. I've tried dragging and dropping the files from the CANON folder, I've tried Adobe Bridge; What am I doing wrong?

I have read that when a clip exceeds 2GB the camera starts recording a new clip and that this is common for cameras that record AVCHD clips.

Have you tried using the Transfer Utility (PIXELA software)?
