Hi, folks! This is my first post, so I would like to say hello to everyone here.

I have a question, indeed:

¿Why is better DVI than VGA?

This question is usually answered with a : "Because DVI is digital", but I know that there are three kinds of DVI, digital, analogic, and combined.

Also, I don't know if when you plug-in a VGA to DVI converter on your graphic card's video output, you are actually transforming a VGA-analogic signal into a DVI-digital signal. Or just it remains an analogic signal.

The only advantatge of digital video signals is their resistance to interferences? There is any other advantage?

Thanks a lot. I think this could be a very interesting subject to develop.

I look foward to your response!
