Solved! Toshiba Qosmio vs. TOSHIBA Satellite A505-S6985

Im looking to buy a new lapto since the mother board crapped out on my old one and is just not worth replacing. I want a laptop that can run some fairly graphics intensive games (IE modern warfare 2, Dragon Age, Mass Effect) Its ok if they wont run on ultra high settings.

the two im currently looking at are the Qosmio

and the Satellite A505

the satellite has more Video memory but the Qosmio has a faster processor(by 200 Mhz) and bigger 3mb L2 cache., the only thing bad about the Qosmio is it has Vista instead of 7. Which will work best for gaming?

(also if you have any other suggestion for a laptop i would appreciate it, my budget is about 800-900 dollars)

I'd go for the Satellite, which has a more powerful GPU. Beyond a certain point, it's your graphics hardware that matters, not the CPU. Add to that the speed of Windows 7 and you've got yourself a good machine!
