Compliant Comcast Digital Cable Boxes For NJ

Hello,
I live in Berkeley Heights, NJ, and I just ordered Comcast Xfinity with Internet to be installed and I would like to buy my own digital tv boxes and cable modem. Do you know if my area requires DOCSIS 3.0 compliant boxes?

You'd probably have to call Comcast directly and even if they told you, they may or may not decide to activate your compliant box. If you intend to go this route, call them first and make sure they'll support what box you want to get.
