Solved! No sound after bios update

i have an toshiba satellite M100, it is 4 years old so thought to have an bios update and guess what even my sound drivers are working there is no sound output. read many forums n problems for the same many said change settings for sound drives to auto from bios, n it worked for some guys but i dont have anything in bios for sound drives and their settings...please help..

Look for a driver set on the Toshiba site, may need new driver after BIOS update.

Did you check to see if the sound is still enabled in your BIOS?
Another lesson learned. Your BIOS is one of those things best left alone. In other words, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
