1_What is your budget? I would like to spend around 1500$ but the budget is not very firm and if I had to go higher that is a possibility.

2_What is the size of the notebook that you are considering? 16 or 17 "

3_What screen resolution
do you want? 1600-1200

4_Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?
I want a desktop replacement I am going to use it as a computer while on a six month deployment underway on a submarine.
5_How much battery life do you need?
I don't need a lot of battery life. Maybe at least an hour.
6_Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?
I do want to be able to play games. Definetly Hearts of Iron 3, starcraft 2 and diablo 3
7_What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo / Video editing,watching movies, Etc.)

8_How much storage (H.D.D Capacity) do you need?
Capacity is not a huge concern.

I would like to be able to keep my laptop at least for 2 years.

11_What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ?
Not a big concern but at the least DVD drive.

I'm not particularly attached to any brand..

I would vote for this one - better processor than both of the others and still within the budget

I am seriously looking at the N81 though - less money and more of a laptop than a desktop replacement

I personally don't like the glossy and huge Bezel on these ASUS but if that doesn't bother u than this is the one to get
