Where is the mike jack on a pc laptop?

I want to get skyp and have a Dell Core 2...where's the mike and place for headsets...on my left on the side? Newbie..sorry

its based on model some have in front side, others have it side...
rose pin is for Mic & green for headphone..

its not a tough job to find it..
