I have a Toshiba Satellite with the following specs. Can I upgrade the ram to 1066Mhz instead of 800Mhz? and the Hard Drive to 7200rpm instead of 5400? and what impact on games it will have? Is it worth it or not?

Operating System C1 2
Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Processor3 and Graphics4
Intel® Core™ 2 Duo processor T6600
o 2.20GHz, 2MB L2 Cache, 800MHz FSB
Mobile Intel® GM45 Express Chipset
NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 230M with 1GB GDDR3 discrete graphics
memory plus up to 1790MB dynamically allocated shared graphics
memory using NVIDIA® TurboCache™ technology.
Total Available Graphics memory 2814MB
Memory5
Configured with 4GB DDR3 800MHz (max 8GB)
Storage Drive6
250GB (5400 RPM) Serial ATA hard disk drive

Chances are the motherboard is only able to support 800 MHz RAM. Unless you are overclocking, it won't make a difference. I cannot stress enough that it isn't a good idea to overclock a laptop. You can upgrade the HDD to a 7200rpm'er though, but it will cost you a bit more than a 5400 rpm drive. A 7200 rpm drive will feel a bit "snappier" than a 5400 rpm drive, i.e. maybe a second or two faster in program loadings and a few seconds faster in booting.

i dont think it's worth the money to upgrade the hd/ram on a laptop.. games are mostly cpu/graphics card bottlenecked.. hd will lessen load times and waiting periods but other than that, i think you're not gonna find NOTICEABLE performance increase..
