Solved! Rca jacks to a dvd player

I have a new digital cable box and want to watch a dvd. How are the rca jacks supposed to be hooked up in the back of my dvd player? Do I need to program my remote for this?

Your DVD player does not connect to your cable box. It connects to your TV. If you do not have enough inputs on your TV you will need to purchase an AV switcher. Which one will depend on the type of input you have on the TV.
