How to restore the original settings

Hello, i have a kinda new netbook, HP Mini 1013
the thing is that i want to restore it to the original settings, like wanted to use it's DVD recovery, but i cant find anywhere inside the HDD (the DVD Recovery image).
So, can anyone help me on how to restore the original settings on the netbook?

When you boot up there should be a list of 2 or 3 function keys to hit in the lower right hand corner (or other corner). One should be the BIOS, another should be setup, and I am unsure with netbooks, but the other should be boot options. You'll want to go to set up or if there is an option for system restore, just hit that function key.

i only found 2 function keys, F9 to select boot menu, and F10 to enter BIOS, still i got no recovery things whatsoever...
