Difference between lcd screen for laptops and for tv

How can i prove to the customs that what i have imported is laptop lcd screen and not TV lcd screens.Why they call a laptop screen a TV screen is obvious.Please do let me know because i want other importers also to benifit from the cause and keey these corrupts at bay.

Surely it should be a simple case that the TV has a tuner built into it ? Whereas a laptop LCD screen doesnt have anything except pure LCD ! HM Customs actually aren't the b**tards that people think they are (unless you are breaking the law), call the helpline on the website and you'll find they are actually really helpful about giving advice on things like this.

It makes no difference what YOU prove. Customs has a list of all electronics and what is allowed and not allowed. That list defines what kind of item each make/model is. If your item is on the banned list, you are completely out of luck.
