Hello,
WE HAVE A FIREPLACE THAT PUTS OUT HEAT UP TO 98 DEGREES ON TOP OF THE SHELF WHERE THE TV AND SOUND BAR SETS........WILL THIS PRESENT A PROBLEM?? WE HAVE TWO "VISIO'S" THAT WE TOOK BACK AS THEY QUIT WORKING AFTER 2 WEEKS. IS THERE A PROBLEM WITH VIZIO OR A HEAT PROBLEM OR JUST BAD LUCK????lEN

Solution
your question is phrased awkwardly as it sounds like the fireplace is on top of the TV but as long as you are not blocking the air vents on the TV and also ensuring there is adequate air flow (meaning the TV is not stuffed into a tight cabinet with little or no air flow), 98 F shouldn't be to hot......try to ensure adequate ventilation however.

As long as there is a mantle between the fireplace and the TV I wouldn't suspect the heat as a problem. Unfortunately, Visio TVs don't have the best power supplies out there and you may have been unlucky enough to get a couple of bad ones. Good luck.
