Hi, I have a canon eos 20D camera, it all of a sudden started to autofocus on its own.. I was not even pressing down the shutter and the lens are focusing in and out on its own, now, I can shoot but cannot see the results in the window, and when I press the menu, info jump or other buttons , it does nothing.

can you please help me in what i need to do. thanks so much

Before you take it to the dealer, you might try the following and see if it cures it.

First go through the camera's menus and find the option for resetting the camera to its default settings. You may have to refer to the manual for that.

If that doesn't work try this. Take out the battery and leave the camera for, say, an hour. Try to turn on the power before you put in the battery (this might clear any residual charge). Now insert the battery and power up normally.
