Hello,
I have a Canon Rebel 2000EOS film camera and am interested in going to digital. Currently I use a Tamron AF Aspherical 28-80mm and a Tamron AF 75-300mm Tele-macro on it. Can I use those lenses on an EOS Rebel T1i EFS?

Yes. The Rebel 2000 EOS has an "EF" lens mount, which is compatible with the EFS mount (you can use an EF lens on any EFS camera but not vice versa).
