hello im just wondering about noise canceling headphones i work in front of two industrial routers all day so its pretty noisey even with noise reduction muffs its still fairly noisey but what ive been doing is putting my earbuds in underneath but its uncomfortable then so what im wondering is if noise canceling headphones will do the job or what i should be looking for if buying a pair....................oh and also another one of my ideas was to get the work earmuffs witha built in FM Radio and then just attach an fm tuner dealy to my mp3 player anyways thanks in advance for any replies

I tried noise-cancelling Auravana headphones in store and was surprised how well they cut out any ambient noise. I thought these things were mostly meant for use on a plane - cutting the engines low hum - but they worked pretty well for a regular shop noise. So I think they could bring some relief in your situation. But as with any closed headphones your ears would be tired after prolonged use. Aurvana headphones used to be about $300 which was pricey but they can be had for $100 less now from amazon etc.
