Hi,

I was wondering if it was possible to hook up WD TV HD Media Player (http://www.wdc.com/en/products/products.asp?DriveID=572) and Wireless NAS (http://www.dlink.com/products/?pid=377).

I want to set it up so that WD TV player will recognize files stored in NAS. I selected wireless so that I can upload files to NAS wireless.

I would hook them up using USB cable Male-Male.

You think it'll work?

Won't work. The WD Media player only uses USB drives as a source, not network drives. The wireless NAS only has network connections to PC's, no USB for connecting anything except for USB hard drives. You'll probably need to use a network media player like the D-Link DSM 320 instead of the WD HD Media Player in order to do what you want to do.
