What the Best Laptop Between Asus G51 and HP dv7-2177cl

i have a G51 Laptop and is Great, but battery life is too short, no lightscribe, no blu-ray and get hot.
but have a very good video card GeForce GTX 260M with 1gb,
Intel® Centrino® 2 core 2 duo P7350 2.0GHz,
4gb memory,
320 hard drive,
backlit keyboard(cool),
Facial recognition securit,
Altec Lansing speakers,
15" screen,
very nice disign and is Asus plus some other features.

and i see the Hp dv7-2177cl in Sams club for same price ($999) but this one is Intel Centrino 2 Core 2 Duo Processor P7750 2.26GHz,
4096MB DDR2,
500GB HD SATA,
BLU-RAY LightScribe ROM with SuperMulti DVD±R/RW Double Layer,
Altec Lansing with SRS Premium Sound and Sub Woofer,

so hp looks very good but i'm not really sure, but HP is no that good as ASUS (i hear HP have much more complains and returns than ASUS), i'm a gamer guy, but i like good features in a laptop, please give me some good data to get the best laptop, because is $1000+tax and i'm going to keep it for a while.

If you are a super gamer, take G51. If not, the HP model should be able to handle most normal games.

Blue-ray is fancy.

Yea the asus is much better quality i work at best buy and i see hp every day get returned and i have only seen one asus get returned for the 2 years ive been there. Asus is much better quality.
