HP Pavillion DV6 1183cl upgrade

I am looking to upgrade the processor in my laptop to one that requires a 1000mhz fsb. i think my motherboard only supports 800mhz fsb. can i flash the bios to make the upgrade or do i need to find another motherboard? i have been looking for replacement boards... havent found one yet though. right now i have an intel 2ghz 7350

What is your current laptop? Be specific please. At any rate, it's hard—if not impossible—to modify your motherboard to support a more powerful CPU. What processor are you looking at anyway? Again, be specific!
