GeForce 2 MX 32-MB video card and detinator driver

Good Day,

I have a problem with the Detinator drivers for windows XP Pro and My Geforce 2 MX 200 32MB (AGP) video card. When I use the defult driver for windows the monitor will shut off automatically after 10 minutes like I want it to. BUT when i use the detinator driver it does not shut my monitor off. Sometimes it goes all wierd and sounds a bit scary. I need the detinator driver to run OPENGL apps like quake 3. Does anyone know how to fix this. I have tried other monitors and with no luck. Thanyou for your time

Hey Lee,

Had the same problem. What I did is I went to nvidia and downloaded the newest XP driver and loaded that. I play counter-strike and always use the default openGL setup. when I loaded WINXP for the first time it wouldn't play openGL. had to run with d3d and I didn't like the rendering.

try that.
