hey guys, was looking for some advice on a laptop i ran into online. It's a Sony VAIO NR270N Intel Core 2 Duo T5270 1.4GHz with 1 gig of ram and 160 gig harddrive, 15.4 inch screen, Mobile Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100, with Vista on it. It is being sold for 600 shipped.

I would of course buy additional ram for it, but for the $600, would it be worth the laptop? Thanks in advance everyone!

For a lappy around that price you could go for a dell that has decently more power for about $750 shipped.
Intel Core 2 Duo T7250 2.0GHz with 1 gig of ram and 160 gig harddrive, 15.4 inch screen (High Res 1440x900), Mobile Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100, built in webcam, Bluetooth, with Vista on it.
A lappy for this kind of specs usually goes for about 1000 on dell, but using coupon codes on this lappy brings it down to $750. With dell giving free shipping on all lappys right now.
The code I used was, 25% off Inspiron Notebooks over $999, coupon code: 204G$$GHGQHNMV

This also depends on what you would use the laptop for.

Just a thought.
