Looking for old Cool Edit Pro 2.1 cd-burning plugin

I'm dusting off Cool Edit after a reinstall, and I don't have the
CD-burning plugin any more. As I recall, there used to be a "flaming
CD" button on the toolbar that went straight to an internal CD-burning
utility.

Any idea where I can download this? Obviously since Adobe bought out
CEP, they're not supporting it, and I can't seem to find any legacy
users' forums.

This is a legal, licensed copy of CEP. I thought that the CD-burning
utility was part of the install package, but apparently not.

IIRC, the CD-burning utility is a part of the CEP 2.1 install package. I
don't recall if there was an option to install it separately, but you
might check your install discs just in case. Note that the utility is not
accessible from the multitrack view.

Hmm. Well, back in the day (three or four years ago now) I downloaded
the CEP 2.1 demo, then purchased a license key, and burned the install
program (the demo was a restricted full version) onto a CD along with
the license activation software they sent when I registered... if I
remember correctly.

I definitely am running 2.1 and have AN install package for 2.1, but
maybe I didn't download the latest version of the install back then?

It could be that I had an earlier version of the 2.1 package and they
first released the plug-in for free and then added it to the full
package, or maybe there's just something screwy going on...

Thanks for looking into it.
