I want to buy a gaming laptop that can play Oblivion and F.E.A.R.

Choices Dell XPS or Alienware

I think you should expand your selection horizon.

It would probably be a lot more cost effective to consider other alternatives with similar specs. You may be pleasantly surprised.

Unless, you just can't live without those crazy "gamerz" cases.

What other laptops have you looked at? I would not spend $3,000+ for those two Laptops.

It's funny. I was just working with a guy to upgrade a 1710/9400 video card. Even though he got his system for next to free due to a clerical error at DELL, he said, "I wouldn't buy anything at DELL again."
