I am using Samplitude 2496 and I need to have manual control over the pitch
of a sound I am creating. So far, I have tried the playback options box
where I can adjust the slider, but this doesn't work too well with the
mouse. Also, there is a way to adjust by drawing a curve, which I will do
if I have to, but I still prefer manual control. Level of adjustment will
be quite large as this isn't an ordinary sound (at double and triple
fundamental frequency). Is there a plug-in I get that would help me?

Thanks,
John Adams

Try Melodyne. It can be used like Autotune in graphical mode, but it
can also be used like a "pitch editor" for creative uses. IMHO, it's
better suited than Autotune for *either* use.

Have you used the pitch algorithms in the object editor? I tune notes and add
vocal harmonies that way sometimes.

Update to version 8 when it comes out in about a month... You'll get all
the pitch correction stuff you could want with the new "elastic audio"
feature...
