I just bought a kodak dx4330 couple days ago .I like the camera it
takes nice pictures. Heres my problem . I can get the pictures from
my camera to the computer by using the usb port . However when I
tried to use the sandisk card reader that I got from bestbuy ,it
freezes my computer . And yes I have downloaded the latest drivers
for it . The model number for the card reader is sddr-33. Is this
the right type of card reader for this memory. Is it possible that I
got a bad unit .
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer me ,Mark

I am not sure if I have usb 1.1 or 2.0 . Does nayone know how to check ?I am using the usb ports connected directly to my motherboard . I have an abit kt7-a if that helps .

For Win98 you need to load the drivers before pluging the reader in.
You should be able to do this by installing the CD that came with the
reader and follow the instructions. I have installed several this way
with no problems. WinXP has built in drivers that work without the Sandisk
drivers. USB is picky sometimes and you have to plug it in several times
before windows will recognize it. Also make sure that the USB port is active
in BIOS. Sometimes they are turned off to save IRQ addresses.
