The March issue of Outdoor Photographer has a poster of Bo Derek, shot
with the 1Ds Mark II by portrait photographer Greg Gorman, who is noted
as saying, " I don't use a medium-format camera anymore, the results I
can achieve with this camera (1Ds Mark II) actually surpass those of
35mm and medium-format cameras."
The poster looks very impressive to me. So if you want to see a sample
of this cameras ability, get a copy of the magazine.
Note: I do not work for Canon or Outdoor Photographer.

brownie........

Until she spoke... I saw her on the Tonight Show, being interviewed by Dave
Letterman, and all I could think was man how does she remember to breathe...

She has a miniature headset in her ear that says:
"inhale...exhale...inhale..."

Interesting. Kathy Ireland's at least occasionally mentioned as one of
the few former supermodels who actually has some savvy. She's a
successful business woman, at least.

It's... the... voice.

I think one of the Brazilian models for Victoria's Secret has the same
problem. I saw one of the commercials where they had the models talk.
BAD IDEA. Hot, hot woman... absolutely unsexy voice. Talk about a
ruined fantasy!

Am I remembering correctly?

When she decided to take up acting, she worked with a voice coach and
developed a more natural, adult-sounding voice. If you've heard any of
her interviews in the last, oh, ten years or so, you'll have noticed that
she hasn't had the voice problem for a long time.

If we are still talking about Kathy Ireland, you can rest assured, were she
HERE she wouldn't need to speak a single word in ANY voice to get my
complete, un-divided attention.
