I upgraded my hard drive a couple of months ago and everything seemed
fine. Recently (3 times), either while deleting a program of just
turning on the system, everything goes blue on the TV. I am forced to
unplug the system and plug it back in to get it up and running again.
I then receive a message that I have to register my ReplayTV on the
website but it will not connect (no phone line). I have to go into
setup and add my area code then exit and go back again to switch
method of connection to use wi-fi and completely re-configure
everything via setup. After going through all the necessary steps and
going to view previously recorded programs, on 2 occasions, everything
disappeared. The last time this happened I was fortunate that they
were still there and immediately sat down to watch 12 hrs of programs
in one sitting for fear of having to go through the same problem
again.
Any ideas about what is happening?
Thanks

The drive is bad. Pull the drive and run the mfg diags on it. It will
most likely fail. Put in a bigger one and send that one back for warr.
replacement. Use the replacement in a pc for DVArchive storage.
