I am looking for anyone that may have an old Dell Latitude CSx with a
working screen. A friend of mine has this model but cracked his screen
while traveling. The LCD is a Sharp LQ133X1LH27 and appears to be the
only type that will fit. All the parts people want more than the laptop
is worth. I have tried to get him to buy a decent used machine but he
does not have much cash to spare so we are trying this first.

If by chance anyone should happen to know of one setting around maybe we
can make a deal..............Thanks to the group for any help offered.

There're plenty of sources out there on the web that'll sell you this
screen for $200 or whereabouts, which is less of a rip-off, I guess, but
still a rip-off nevertheless. If you can afford to be a little more
patient, you'll find plenty of CSx parts (including screens) on ebay, and
pay quite a bit less.

I'm not entirely sure that the LQ133X1LH27 is so unique that there aren't
any equivalents, so while you're googling around the web, ask the vendors!
The better ones out there are the ones who actively seek solutions, rest
of 'em don't care...

If you'll be so kind as to post the results of your search...:)
