The Tube Music Channel

I recently discovered this music video channel that plays nothing but music
videos and very few commercial interruptions.
http://www.thetubetv.com/

It's currently free on Galaxy 10R satellite Ku Band (Frequency 11719,
Vertical polarity, Signal rate 27692).
http://www.lyngsat.com/g10r.html

I seem to have trouble gettting a better quality signal. I can never get
this and the other channels on 11719 V to go higher than 54 quality signal
on my BEC digital FTA receiver. Other channels on the same satellite but
different frequency (11800 V) come in higher like around 67 and 11905 V
(WVXF-TV) comes in at 60.

Or maybe I have to align the winegard dish with motor better.
I live in the New Orleans area so it's almost exactly 90 degrees W.

Is your BEC capable of moving the motor manually? You should try to sightly
move it degree or two to better quality.

Skew and dish size are important for that one. 1.2 meter is best, and
be spot on with polarization of the LNBF.
Align it real good as well on the whole arc while you are there.
It shouldn't be breaking up with a 54 anyway.

I know it doesn't break up at 54 but that's the most I can get it.
53 is the absolute minimum. When the weather's bad you can forget about it.

I have my 76cm dish, with a 0.4db Uni LNB, I can get the Tube from even 37
in rain, clear day, I can get 60 around, so I think after the fine tuning of
the dish and skew, a better LNB is important.

Now every once in a while I can get it at 56 so I'll take your advice.
