Finishing Coax Termination

I just finished a house remodel and think I made a mistake?? I only ran one
coax to most locations except for a master bedroom, living room and family
room, where I ran two coax cables. I was told I need an extra coax for HD?
Is this true? Is so, I could kick myself that I didn't run more coax when
the walls were open. I have no attic or basement. All slab except for one
small crawl space! All Coax cables run back to a homerun closet? Can I get
HD off of one COAX?

Don't sweat it, you most certainly CAN get HD off of one coax, provided that
it is of fairly high quality. Hopefully you ran RG6.

I am curious, just how important is HD other than where you ran two lines?

Even if you needed more lines, you may be surprised at what a gifted
electrician can do. I've seen mine do what I though was impossible without
busting holes in walls.

Anyway, I hope you ran some CAT 5 around the house too. You can do a lot
with those gems.

Probably is best to run two coax's to the various main rooms for TV.
Reason being one coax for HD from your dish input and the other from
the local outdoor UHF antenna to receive the networks. That is if you
near enough to some larger city. I think in the next few years the
dish and cable companies will be supplying the HD networks within
various regions.

RG-6 rules.....

Obviously - you use the cable already in to pull more through!
