I am researching a purchase of an HDTV-

1. Is it possible to have an HD set that is 720P but unable to accept 720
input?

2. Does projector technology- LCD, DLP. LCos guarantee NO convergence or
geometry problems like older rear projectors?

Question 1: no. Virtually every HDTV is capable of 480, 720i, 720p, and 1080i

Question 2: no. all digital displays have those problems- though they are minimized w/ DLP, Plasma, and LCD.
