Any way to convert HD-DVD "EVO" files to mp4, mkv, avi or something

I have in my possession a Digital Video Essentials TV tuner for my plasma TV but I don't have a HD-DVD drive obviously. I'd like to just convert to a format so I can stream over my PS3 media server, Samsung allshare or just a flash drive.

I tried AVS video converter but no luck.

Otherwise can anyone recommend any good free tuner files for my TV.

Handbrake worked for me but I have been using AppGeeker for the past 8 months. Both of these compress the original dvd so the quality is not 100%; but You really cant tell. It doesnt bother me none. If you want full quality use AppGeeker. This rips everything including features. I have them both.

For these conversions I usually use VirtualDub. If you need more - with filters etc. try to use what is described here. This way you can for example convert sd video to hd.
