The problem-
I cant seem to open Excel documents when I go through the excel program (File -> Open), It continuously says that there is a corruption in the file or something wrong with the file, But I can open them when I browse to the folder and double click the file.
What I tried-
uninstalling and reinstalling office (tried twice, once through add/remove programs and once from Microsoft fixit)
adding the network drive to the trusted locations
removing the preview pane
and several other small things, cant think of them right now.
If anyone knows anything about what is going on here, I would really appreciate it if you could throw some possible solutions my way. Thanks in advance!
