My DLP 50 inch RCA Scenium is 7 months old and until the last 24 hours
the video has been fine. Now the video periodically freezes
regardless which channel it is on and the audio stops. I can clear it
by switching to another input then going back to cable. I'm wondering
if anyone else has had this happen and if the problem was in fact the
TV or perhaps something with the Cox Cable signal.

Directly connected to the cable feed or via a HD CATV supplied box? Direct
it may be a signal problem or a TV problem; via a HD Box, highly suspect the
Box.<

Art, the freeze happened again last night while watching a DVD so it
is probably the set. The i/o board was replaced a month ago to
address a sound distortion problem. Just before the freeze the "no
signal" icon appears for a split second. Each freeze is easily
cleared by switching to another input and then back. I will call my
friendly TV repair man and touch base with him.

Although the Scenuim has a card slot I am using a Cox HD converter
(SA3250HD). Cox does have some issues, mainly with audio popping
noises which a converter reboot clears for a few days.

Thank you for your response.
