Opening a hard disk copy with the extension .wmf

Hello, the title is my question.
The hard disk is now copied into another hard disk drive and now labelled "Copy of hard disk X.wmf@ trouble is, I have forgotten wich software was used to get this file, and then, there was a system breakdown recently, and I lost all my previous software !!

About a backup software I have no answer. :(

Next time get a backup software with a Live CD ISO, you have to burn it with the system you use. This is because of drivers and that kind of stuff.
Acronis, Paragon and many more.
