TNT"HD" now on Comcast Richmond VA

For what it's worth, and it isn't much as yet, Comcast has added Turner
Network TV "HD" on chan 249

From what I can see, Turner thinks that line doubling analog TV magically
becomes real HD.

TNT-HD is channel 204 in chicago. The NBA games look pretty good.

I particularly enjoy the stairstep artifacts on diagonal lines.

While the fattened versions of "Law and Order" and other programs on TNT are
irritating, when they run actual HD programming, as they do part of the
time, their HD video is fine and, all the time, their audio is excellect.

Quality is in the eyes of the beholder. If you do not like it turn it off.
I view it as being much better than the analog stuff that cable dishes out.
Also you can always watch the "quality" HD sitcoms that the three majors
offer.
