Problem With Program Installations

Hello,
I have this strange problem. It started today, until now everything worked fine. When I put any installation CD in my PC, everything starts working like usual. But when I go to my computer and double click to run the installation , the computer thinks for few secs and nothing happens. Same thing when I explore the cd to run the auto-run, setup and so on. I went to task manages, processes, and found all the setups to be running ,but non show on the desktop or gave me any kind of user interference.
Does anybody knows the problem ? I would be really grateful for that.
Im using windows7 ultimate. If you need any specs - ask.

you may have a virus or malware on your computer. please scan your computer.

Im completely virus free.

if you have no virus or malware then it may be a problem with windows itself.
