Need help with video files to Blu ray disc

Hi, i dont know where to go and ask this question.
I have a few movies in different formats like .mkv and .mp4, now i want to create a Blu Ray Disc so i can play in on a BD player. now i tried crating one with Nero and it takes around 3 hours to make. is any other faster option to do this? maybe take the movie file and create like a data Blu ray and then burn the data as a Blu ray movie formart?

Make sure its with multi threading support.

Creating a blu-ray disc really does take that long. I have a high end system and making a 25GB blu ray from various video sources takes, at a minimum, 2 hours.

my CPU is an Intel i7 2700K @4.7GHz

also yesterday i was burning a movie to a blu ray disc and when the movie is playing on the BD player after 1 hour the sound is out of sycn with the video. can anyone help me out what is causing that problem. i saw the movie on the computer and it was fine, but after burning the blu ray that problem came up
