Looking For A Good Restoration Program

I apologize if I do not use the best terminology to describe what I am looking for, but here goes.

Long story short, I just finished up building my first PC yesterday. I have a 128GB SSD for my boot/os drive, and a 1TB standard hard drive for bulk storage. I have a fresh install of Windows 7, and all drivers are currently up to date.

What I am looking to do is to create a "picture in time", so to speak of my computer as it currently is. There is no extra crap installed on there and nothing to slow it down. What I'd like to be able to do from time to time is to be able to permanently revert back to this state, if I so desire. I know with any PC it will begin to slow down a bit over time as programs are installed, deleted, etc etc. I want to be able to go back to the exact point when my PC was brand new and as efficient as possible.

What kind of a program do I need to do this? I don't believe a Windows restore point works as I would like it to.

Thanks!
