Windows 7 installer - corrupted files

I just ran a boot scan with avast anti-virus and during the long process, it said: windows\installer\1beea8.msi|>dw20shared.cab|>DWDC20.DLL ERROR 42127 {CAB archive is corrupted}
windows \installer\afced.msp|>QFEGDR.Cab|7 system_dll_amd64 ERROR 42127 {DLL archive is corrupted}
windows\installer\afced.msp|>QFEGDR.Cab|7 system_dll_86 Error 42127 {DLL archive is corrputed}

How can I either fix the corrupted files or re-install Windows Installer?

ok here you go,

click on start button and selet run then type sfc /scannow and hit enter button a small window will appear for asking you to insert your windows cd which you have already installed then click on ok/next this will automatically fix your entire corrupted files.

I selected run and typed sfc / scannow and hit enter, but the small window did not appear! A window briefly flashed on the screen and disappeared? Any suggestions?
