Recovery Software for failing hard drives

I am looking to try one or more software applications on a few spare "bad" hard drives. These are drives with a growing number of bad sectors. CrystalDiskInfo marked the hard drive "yellow". What have people tried and worked well? I looked at Spinrite's website. Sounds impressive.

Thanks, but I am looking for something that recovers data from hard drives that are failing. GetDataBack looks mainly for files deleted in error, or a format in error, etc. Other suggestions?

It keeps the electricity stable and if your HDD is writing and power goes haywire, this will save your hardware.

Everybody should have at least $20 surge protector.
