I am trying to burn the Mac OS X DVD to a HDD, but this happens:

What I tried already was:
1. Lower Read Speed
2. Clean the DVD (there were some dirty spots so I cleaned them but no luck)

Do you mean to update the firmware of the DVD drive?

I don't have a additional Mac OS X DVD...

:O I determined where the sector 691152 and 691153 is; its somewhere on the outside of the disk, and voila, i found MORE dirty spots, and I tried to clean them, but unfortunately, those spots DON'T come off :( What now?

:D looks like it has a feature callled "Extract [volumename]" and that's exactly what I need, but it says that it's not available in the free version :( Anyone know any free software that does the same?
