Porblem viewing jpg images

My sister has tried sending me some important pictures jpg, which I have received in the past from others. However, after 3 times of her sending them I continually am unable to pull them up. I do not understand this, as i have pulled other pics up from jpg. Can you help me get my pics? Thank-you Char Moscato
