Yes you would need a IT912 or a quali TV to get those, and a big dish
since most is on C-band

Nebraska ETV's package on IA5 C-Band includes PBS-HD. I think a 4DTV
with HD adapter should get it. Can someone with that hardware verify?
A 4DTV without the adapter can get the other Nebraska channels.

I can verify that you can't...the post said FTA...that does NOT mean 4dtv
with an adapter!

Can a 4DTV receiver receive any FTA stations without a subscription? I have
access to one of the receivers and may hook it up if it will provide me with
any FTA tv.

THANKS!

It can show analog and Digicipher 2 programs on C and Ku without
subscription, as long as they're not scrambled. And it can handle
scrambled ones with a subscription. Won't do DVB, unfortunately. We
have one at work with no subscription to anything. Don't know if we
had to authorize it to get updates; I wasn't involved in the
installation. It does receive the Nebraska ETV channels on IA5, which
are DC2 but not scrambled. But we don't have the HD adapter, so I
don't know if it would get the PBS HD channel that is part of that
package. That's what I said to the original poster, who asked if
there was any FTA HD available on satellite. That prompted
Curmudgeon's response below.

Yes, anything that is DCII FTA.
