Thanx everyone for ur valuable suggestions.

Yesterday, I found a tool on Cnet. I used it for the same after reading reviews an software utility from Cnet.

I am quite happy with that utility named Advanced System Optimizer. it has my tools integrated like System Cleaner, Privacy Cleaner, Registry Cleaner and Optimizer, Disk Defrager, Duplicate File Remover, Backup Manager, Disk Explorer, Data recovery tool like undelete and many more.

I like its user friendly UI and functionality.:)

With the frequent copy/paste answers a slip up was bound to happen eventually. Also, personally I wouldn't recommend any register "fixers/cleaners". The farthest effort I would consider is the one built into Ccleaner. And speaking of which I vote +1 for Ccleaner as a great "optimizer"/cleaner program. Simple and effective.

Windows 7 is the best optimization "program"
( i know its an OS.. :p)
it keeps itself maintained when the processor is idle.
If you leave it at default

I use Advanced System Care Pro. A lotta people don't like it since the MBAM thing broke, but really, it has served me really well over the last year or so.

I did'nt pay a dime for it though :kaola:
