I downloaded a video file off the internet (MKV 720p 5.1 Surround). I would like to put it on my Zune HD in HD and 5.1, since it can output both. Is there any free software that can do this?
Thanks!

Also, it looks like SUPER does this, but the 6 channel option doesn't not appear. Anyone know hoe to do this with MKV?

Ah sorry missed the freeware part, look into what an updated catalist driver can do for you. I know there are video encoding options build into the driver, just not sure of what formats it handles.

Thanks, this works great. Although it is not capable of 5.1, it still sounds fine. It is also much simpler than SUPER, and it got all the speakers messed up (center coming out of left, sub coming out of enter, etc.).
