Hi,

I have been capturing MPEG2 files from my FusionII
tuner card. I have tried several editors - mpeg2vcr, etc and can't find one
that will edit the file and keep audio. Audio is either lost or out of
synch. Also, need recommendation on DVD authoring my captured MPEG files.
DVD Santa(no menu creation) will do DTV files but not HDTV.

thanks

I use Tmpgenc DVD Author for editing MPEG files captured on my Adaptec box,
mainly cutting out commercials. Keeps the audio synched and will do AC-3
audio with the AC-3 plugin. It is an extra cost item but really reduces the
size of the audio tracks. Basic menu capability but I don't use menus so it
isn't a big deal to me. It also burns the DVD.

I just tried the MPEG editor they have. That thing has great controls. They
don't let you try the AC3 piece, though. So, I realy won't know if it'll
work on my files.
Wonder if it'll ever be available cheap anywhere?
