Can't play left for dead 2

I played left for dead 2 through yesterday for a few hours, about half an hour later around 1am eastern, I logged on to steam and tried to play left for dead 2. I got a message saying "This game is currently unavailable. Please try again at another time. So I go back every hour until 3am, and I still get the same error. I tried around 10am, 11, 12,1,2,3. And I still get the same error. Can anyone please help, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank You in advanced. Sorry guys don't know where else to put this, except in multimedia.
