Anyone know a good File Splitting Software? I don't really want to download a freeware one without a good recommendation :)

I can confirm that Gsplit (freeware) will split and unite video files.

I recently split a 228 MB .MTS file into 25 x -10MB chunks so I could email it in multiple parts.

Gsplit provided a small executable file I could email so the parts could be united. The process worked flawlessly.

Best of all it didn't cost $100 to do.

:bounce: I have been using glary utilities. File splitter tool of it is really so smart that I recommend to all my colleagues and friends for file transferring. But this tool is contained in the Glary Utilities---a package of many PC maintenance applications. You may download an independent one on its homepage or the entire glary utilities on CNET: http://download.cnet.com/Glary-Utilities/3000-2094_4-10508531.html?tag=mncol;pop
